The timeless ashlar slate pattern with cool gray integral and a mixture of blue fog, classic gray, and platinum gray color hardener broadcast onto the surface. The area originally had pavers which had become uneven and had weeds growing through that we removed and stacked to save for the customer. There was also a large set of paver steps and a concrete pad that we removed to make room for the new patio. The pool was very high in comparison to the patio area which did not allow water anywhere to go so we installed over 50 feet of french drain to remediate the water to a better area of the backyard. The stepped sitting wall was not built to grade with the rest of the walls so we removed it and excavated the hill underneath and rebuilt the wall downwards to not have any exposed hillside above the slab. A set of cut stone cantilevered steps were added to access the existing deck stairs and the wall was rebuilt around them.
